Designed and built a functional prototype for SPIDER—Shared Pedagogical Initiative: A Database of Electronic Resources. Funded by the U.C. Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology, the goal was to create a searchable database for writing and research pedagogy across the curriculum.

• Led student and instructor focus groups to document and ratify a comprehensive set of user needs
• Conducted usability tests of existing course web sites and teaching material databases
• Worked with instructors, faculty and librarians to develop design and functionality specifications
• Designed and built a functional prototype for meta data searches
