The myriad shades of green worn by the lads and lassies conjured for me the verdant homeland. Unfortunately, I had work to do that night after TND, so I couldn't be truly patriotic and get bombed.

Dan Bornstein, sporting a token bit of tartan, was seen eating his words as it were, as he actually ate the cabbage part of corned beef and cabbage. He, like several others, had professed a predispositional dislike for the latter half of that traditional St. Paddy's Day dish.
