Beer is food!??

Beer is food TND, brought to us by Nick Montfort , had the potential to be a real swinging, slurring evening. Everyone was surprisingly well behaved. Did it have anything to do with the camerawoman here from the LA Times? Or maybe once we are told to get drunk and rowdy, we don't wanna do it? I guess we'll never know.

There were a few priceless drunken moments, however. The one that sticks in my mind is of Axil Comras taking the last beer of the night out of Marjorie's hand, stealing a sip, then pouring it over his head. He went on to explain, very excitedly, how good beer is for one's hair.

For dinner, Nick brought, uh, beer. Surprise, surprise. He also made (er, reheated) some tasty tamales which complemented Todd Kerpelman's nachos and Caleb's buffalo wings very nicely. We also had some various snack foods that went well with the beer, like pretzels and chips.

Our littlest geek (no, not Jem!) showed his mom and Danfuzz a thing or two on the Atari in the living room. Your friend and mine, Twat , made an appearance last night, but refused to allow herself to be photographed. Caleb , that babe, cooked up his spicy buffalo wings in the kitchen with admirers looking on. Meanwhile, Squishy and Sean organized a bible study group in the front room.

With the weather so mild lately, we've been encouraging people to hang out down on the back patio. This week we even put the beer coolers down there. Sure enough, it did the trick.

Someone took a lot of pictures of Sonic this week.

Great big huge fuzzy thanks to Owen Thomas for taking pictures for us! Yay! Woo!

Check out the new MacPaint Art!

Psst, go see the best in TND eavesdropping at the TND Picnic Table! Read, out of context, little tidbits of conversation that our nosy Cyborganics scrawled on the picnic table.

This Week's Cyborganic Propaganda Fast becoming a TND institution, the Cyborganic propaganda serves as a little weekly newsletter to keep the kids updated.

Zeppi filled in at the last minute as our DJ for the week, helping us get our groove on and stuff. Thanks Zeppi.

Gene Dupont's sister took up the very prestigious title of Swabmistress this week. Apparently Gene couldn't make it so she covered for him. Keeping calm and working well under pressure, she did a marvelous job. Way to go with that swabbin', girl!

And don't forget to visit our counterpart in New York!
